Dr. Kurt Klepitsch

Dr. Kurt Klepitsch

Practice Owner

Dr. Klepitsch has worked at Gateway since 1990. He graduated from the University of Illinois in 1988. His areas of interest include internal medicine and surgery. He has a spaniel/retriever mix named Finn and a cat named Norman. In his spare time, he enjoys gardening, golfing, fishing and spending time with his wife, son, and daughter.

Dr. Cindy Hooper

Medical Director

Dr. Cindy Hooper has been at Gateway since November 2010. She graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. Her clinical interests include internal medicine, cardiology, and public health. She has one dog, Haley, a long-coated Chihuahua and five cats, Bobey, Simon, Callie, Wren, and G.A.R.F. She is pictured with her youngest cat, G.A.R.F., whom she rescued from Kane County Animal Control. In her free time, Dr. Hooper likes to travel. She has been to at least 25 US states, Mexico, Honduras, Ecuador (and the Galapagos!), England, Ireland, France, Italy, Greece, Belgium, and many islands in the Caribbean.

Dr. Rebecca Tracy

Dr. Tracy joined our clinic in July 2015. She attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in Basseterre, St. Kitts, West Indies and graduated in 2006. Her areas of interest include dermatology, ophthalmology, and exotic pet medicine. She has two cats named Oscar and Giblets and a beagle named Noli. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her husband and son and reading on her Kindle.

Dr. Shannon Bianucci

Dr. Bianucci joined our clinic in May 2016. She attended the University of Illinois and graduated in 2005. Her areas of interest include soft tissue and orthopedic surgery.  She has a pit bull mix named Georgie and a Frenchie named Gemma.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.

Dr. Patrice Lima

Part Time Associate

Dr. Lima joined our practice in November 1998 after graduating with her DVM from the University of Illinois.

She has one daughter and one furry child – a spunky German Shepherd named Skittles. Her veterinary interests include behavior and surgery.

In her free time, she likes to read, knit, cook and bake allergy-friendly treats, and be outside with her family.

 

Dr. Murray

Dr. Murray

Dr. Murray has been with Gateway since 2015. Her clinic interests include emergency, surgery, and internal medicine. She is also a strong believer in preventive medicine. She is also a Diplomat of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners since 1994.

At home, she has two pets! Lucy is a two-year-old beagle obtained through H.E.L.P., a local rescue organization. Lucy loves everyone! She also has Ferrari, a nine-year-old Lusitano horse. They play at dressage and love trail riding.
