Dr. Klepitsch has worked at Gateway since 1990. He graduated from the University of Illinois in 1988, and his areas of interest include internal medicine and surgery. He has a spaniel/retriever mix named Tilly, a cat named Norman and Contessa an Appaloosa mare and a Pony named Oreo. In his spare time he enjoys gardening, golfing, fishing and spending time with his wife, son and daughter.
Dr. Hooper is a 2006 graduate from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in Basseterre, St. Kitts, West Indies. She joined our team in November 2010. Her areas of interest include cardiology, soft tissue surgery, preventative medicine, senior pet wellness, and public health concerns. Her outside hobbies include traveling, SCUBA, reading, sewing, crafting, and attending flea markets. She has traveled to England, Ireland, France, Greece, Italy, Wales, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Honduras, St. Maarten, Antigua, Montserrat, Puerto Rico, Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands!
Dr. Wahlund has been a part of our clinic since June 2011. She attended Iowa State University, College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2003. Her areas of interest include dermatology and behavior. She enjoys working with performance dogs as she has them herself! She has three dogs, Dr. Banner, a Border Collie, Charlie Parker, a Brittany and Billie Holiday, an English Springer Spaniel. She trains and trials them in multiple performance events including; agility, obedience, rally obedience, conformation, barn hunt, weight pull, dock diving, lure coursing, frisbee, and nose work. On her off time, she enjoys traveling to the ocean and spending time with her husband and her dogs.
Dr. Tracy joined our clinic in July 2015. She attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in Basseterre, St. Kitts, West Indies and graduated in 2006. Her areas of interest include dermatology, ophthalmology and exotic pet medicine. She has two cats named Oscar and Giblets. In her free time she enjoys hanging out with her husband and son, and reading on her Kindle.
Dr. Lima joined our practice in October 1998. She owns a German Shepherd named Skittles. She enjoys cooking, baking and doing crafts with her daughter Mackenzie.
Dr. Bianucci joined our clinic in May 2016. She attended University of Illinois and graduated in 2005. Her areas of interest include soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. She has a a pit bull mix named Georgie and a Frenchie named Gemma. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her Husband and 3 children
